CORNISH PIRATES SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT

Head Coach Neil Fowkes has named his side that will host Cornish Pirates at The Bay on Friday night, 7:45pm kick off.

Fowkes makes seven changes to the side that lost to Hartpury last week.

On the squad selection, Fowkes said: “It was always part of the plan to make some changes. We’re not going to use injuries as an excuse but we’ve got a thin squad. We’ve lost two centres, two second-rows and two back-rowers so we need to be in a position where we can bring players in and refresh those boys and help those boys get back on to the pitch.

“Leicester have given us some help this week which means we’re able to cover off some of those positions where we don’t have cover, so a big thanks to Leicester for that. Obviously Tui Uru is still with the squad from Saints.”
