Nottingham Rugby are delighted to be taking part in Rugby Against Cancer’s national sock takeover!
On Friday 14th February when Nottingham take on Northampton Saints in the Premiership Cup, the Archers will be wearing the unique Rugby Against Cancer socks as part of the charity’s awareness weekend.
This is the first time that Nottingham, or any Championship club, have taken part in the takeover – a real milestone for the charity as their profile continues to grow.
Sam Mercer, Nottingham Rugby player and Rugby Against Cancer Elite 7’s player, quoted “I’ve been involved with the charity for a few years now and it’ll be amazing to raise as much awareness as possible!”
The club are delighted that the Rugby Against Cancer trustee’s will be able to join us on the night to see the socks in action. Their team will have a stall on the night so please pop over and see them to learn more about the charity and see what stash they have in stock.
