Wilson made an immediate impact with the Green and Whites since
returning to English shores after a brief spell back home in New
Zealand.
The flanker joined Nottingham on an 18 month deal in early
November 2011, and was quickly used into the leadership group.
Wilson shared captaincy duties with the club's most decorated
skipper after the New Year.
The Kiwi is best known in the English game for his five seasons
(2006-2010) in the Premiership with the Newcastle Falcons. Wilson
does not count as an overseas player due to his wife's British
passport.
The 30-year-old spent many of his younger days on the blindside
flank, but is equally adept in the other back row positions.
