Nottingham make changes for the visit of Plymouth

Nottingham Rugby have made a number of changes to their starting line-up for the visit of Plymouth Albion in the Greene King IPA Championship on Sunday (17th November).

An injury to Rupert Cooper, sustained in last weekend's 29-15 defeat at Moseley, sees Tom Calladine move to the flank and Alex Shaw return at number 8.  Jon Vickers returns from injury in the front row with Alun Walker making way.

Behind the scrum, Finlay Barnham gets his first start of the season at scrum half following an impressive run out against Moseley.  Sean Romans moves to the bench.

Matthew Jarvis and Rory Lynn swap places, with the former moving from fly half to full back.  Nottingham also welcome Ryan Hough back from injury on the wing, where he replaces Tom Chapman.

Nottingham Head Coach Martin Haag said, "We weren't at our best last weekend and didn't get the consistency of performance that we'd been looking for.  Having said that, there were some things that we did well and that gives us something to build on this weekend.  The pack, in particular, went well last weekend, so if we can continue that and find some improved accuracy in other aspects of our game then we'll be heading in the direction we want."

The match also marks Ladies Day at the club and the players will be donning their famous pink shirts.  These will be auctioned off after the match with a donation from the sales being made to Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.
