In the last week, the Green and Whites' goal kicker, who scored all of Nottingham's points in their last home game when they beat London Scottish 15-3, visited Southwark Primary School.

Jarvis joined in the rugby session, led by Nottingham Rugby Community Coach Sam Bignall, and was impressed by the Southwark pupils' enthusiasm for the game.

He commented, "It was great to come out to Southwark Primary. The kids were really enthusiastic about rugby. They really seemed to enjoy themselves and it was great to see them gaining some team working skills, which are so valuable in rugby."

Nottingham Rugby's next home game is on Sunday 16th February at Meadow Lane when promotion chasing Bristol come to town and the Community Department are holding a celebration of the success of the community programme.

Affiliate schools will be granted special offers for the game which will give the school children the chance to see the Nottingham Rugby stars that have coached them in action on the Meadow Lane pitch.
