GRINNERS: Winning team from St Philip Neri with St Bede Catholic Primary at the Mansfield Rugby Club tag festival with Nottingham Rugby community coach Josh Salathiel (L) and Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies managing director Malk Hall (R)

The latest deal confirms the Mansfield-based company as the RFU Championship club's leading community partner.

Hall-Fast managing director Malk Hall has been the driving force behind the Green and Whites' pilot scheme in North Nottinghamshire which has seen the Meadow Lane club deliver coaching to more than 1000 students at 23 schools across the region.

The success of the programme was evident last week with two schools which have received coaching - St Philip Neri Primary and King Edwards Primary School - contesting the final of the Mansfield tag rugby competition.

Hall said he was proud to commit to the club for a third season.

"I am very pleased to extend our North Nottinghamshire Community partnership with Nottingham Rugby, the work that the club has done over the last 12 months in area has been tremendous in numerous primary and secondary schools and also within the Fountaindale SEN School," Hall said.

"It has been a source of great pride for all involved to promote the game and help deliver more top quality coaching across North Nottinghamshire.

"This programme means much more than just delivering coaching and expanding the Green and Whites reach across the Shire, we are all intent on encouraging healthy and active lifestyles."

Nottingham Rugby chief executive Simon Beatham said Hall-Fast's continued involvement is a major coup for the ever-expanding community programme.

"I'm delighted that we will carry on working together and that this relationship, which has already had a significant impact in North Nottinghamshire, will continue to grow and impact people in the area," Beatham said.

"This is another great example of what sport and business can achieve when working together. We are all excited about what the future holds as this partnership goes from strength-to-strength."
