NOTTINGHAM Rugby head coach Martin Haag will be the Green Army's special guest at the official supporter club's quiz night in January.

Haag jumped at the opportunity to join fans and Green and Whites players on a night out.

It is also a chance for the Nottingham boss to show his gratitude for the lengths the Green Army go to get behind his side.

"I'm really looking forward to the quiz and the chance to mingle with our fans," Haag said.

"The sort of support that the Green Army has shown the team this season has been immense with travelling parties and vocal support wherever we are - from here at Meadow Lane or The Brickfields in Plymouth.

"Whenever we take the field it is a great boost to look around the ground and see green and white! Support like that is so important and hugely valued by everyone at Nottingham Rugby."

Haag and players will also take the hot seat for a Q & A, with the Green Army calling on fans to submit their questions to their Facebook page.

The quiz night with Nottingham Rugby will be held at the Canalhouse on Wednesday, January 23 at 7pm.

Entry, including food, will is £5. A number of great prizes are being organised and will be added to the group's Facebook page.
