The Green and Whites battled bravely against Munster in Ireland last week but, despite a strong performance, were unable to secure the victory to keep their chances of qualifying alive going into this final round of group fixtures.

Nottingham Backs Coach, Ben Johnston, will be in charge on Saturday and he revealed that the whole camp will take a lot out of Munster game.

"It was a good performance over in Munster with the boys really fronting up.  They were determined to put in a shift after the defeat to Ealing in our previous league match and you could see the hunger and desire in the players throughout the match.

"It was a very physical match played at a high intensity and we weren't found wanting.  Our defence was excellent and took some breaking down.  The scores which took the result away from us were down to two very impressive bits of play from Munster which would have broken down most defences."

With Nottingham not able to progress to the quarter finals of the cross border competition, it could be argued that there is little for them to play for.  Johnston, however, says that is definitely not the case.

He continued, "Firstly we have a responsibility to the competition to give it our all.  We then have a responsibility to ourselves and our fans to go out there giving it our all to win.  Perhaps most importantly though, is the need for us to continue the momentum we built in Ireland so that we're in the best possible shape going into our next league match at Bedford.

"If we can take a win into that match it will be great for our confidence, so we won't be lying down on Saturday that's for sure."

Nottingham have made a couple of changes to their pack ahead of the visit of Plymouth.  Tom Price is replaced in the second row by Neilus Keogh while Will Skuse comes into the back row in place of Brent Wilson.  Tom Calladine takes over the captaincy for this match.
